Operations Manager Position

Who are we?

We are a young and innovative cleaning company, shaking up a stale industry in Halifax.

Employing dedicated customer service, digital marketing and online branding, we have grown to 20+ employees, firmly landing on the first page of google. And it has been less than a year since the phrase “Get Soapy” was first uttered. Working alongside our sister company, HostOften, we specialize in Airbnb turnovers and high end residential cleans. We are a company that fosters leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Working alongside the CEO General Manager and Assistant Managers to make decisions for operational activities and setting strategic goals
  • Planning the day-to-day operations of the business to ensure smooth progress
  • Setting long term goals
  • Supervising staff and encouraging staff to build optimal company culture and workplace environment
  • Responsible for the successful operation of all aspects of the business according to the policies, procedures and goals of the company.

Operations

  • Management of assistant managers and team leads, to ensure that roles and responsibilities are being upheld
  • Hiring and on-boarding of managers and team leads
  • Management of virtual team, ensuring cohesiveness in schedule and client customer care
  • Regularly evaluate the efficiency of business procedures according to organizational objectives and apply improvements
  • Evaluate overall performance by gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data and metrics
  • Monitoring hours and work with accounting team to ensure appropriate payroll
  • Implement Health and Safety Training and protocols
  • Oversee property inspections
  • Implement, oversee and evaluate new business strategies and offerings

Leadership

  • Organize productive and engaging team meetings
  • Enhance company culture through constant constructive feedback, consistency in message, and engaging activities
  • Discipline – verbal and written warnings
  • Continually manage relationships among employees

Starting Salary: $35,000 – $40,000 depending on experience

Being a startup there are opportunities to grow rapidly grow this salary
Equity and partnership potential
Evaluations at 3 and 6 month intervals.
